This article will provide an overview of the services of the Northamptonshire Yeomanry during the First World War and will help you research a soldier who served with it. I have created a series of guides to help you research soldiers who served in the British Army:

Further Sources for the Northamptonshire Yeomanry
2/1st Northants Yeomanry Magazine Vol.1 No.1 September 1915 – Vol.1 No.10 June 1916 are held at the British Library. Less than twenty pages each but a very important source of information for the 2/1st and 3/1st Northamptonshire Yeomanry. Lots of photographs and a regimental gazette at the start of each journal containing promotions, discharges etc. I would say at least 50 men are recorded. Lots of photographs, with some names throughout.
